Our first pike tournament is scheduled for Sunday, May 27th on Six Mile Lake.  Thursday, May 24th at 8pm is the final registration and draw meeting at FANatics Sports Bar & Grill.

Thank-you to the 12 club members who participated in Mississauga LitterNot Volunteer Clean-up Program at Lakefront Promenade Park on May 5th, 2012.  Volunteers were rewarded with some fine BBQ cooking afterwards.

Starting planning now to fish the Island Lake club bass opener on Saturday, June 23rd.  The format is "open team" which means that you can choose your own team partner as long as one angler is an OBFN member in good standing.

Details of the 2012 Hank Gibson OBFN Provincial Qualifier (with the Early Bird deadline of May 31st) have been posted.

Get out your old tackle and come out to a Tackle Swap at our next meeting of members on Tuesday, June 5th at 7:30 p.m.  Melanie Frost will be our guest speaker on the topic of Boater/Non-Boater Etiquette, plus our pike tournament winners will have a few tips.  The location is the FANatics Sports Bar & Grill found inside the Classic Bowl centre in Mississauga.
