Charitable Initiatives |
|
For
the last 15 years Mississauga
Bassmasters has raised money and food
donations for charities in Southern Ontario including Foodpath Peel, Interim Place, and the Mississauga
Credit Valley Hospital.
Barrie Junior Bassmasters was our 2007 & 2009 funding raising recipient
with a $100 donation towards helping youth in the Junior
Bassmasters program.
For 2008, Mississauga Bassmasters
is proud to continue with our club members'
strong belief in helping out surrounding
communities. Our focus that year was "The
Weekend to End Breast Cancer".
In
December 2005, special
prizes were donated by Johnson Outdoors Canada Inc.
and Matzuo America for a fund raising draw. A total of $550.00 was raised
for the Mississauga Credit Valley
Hospital Foundation, Paediatric Unit.
Thanks
to you, our club was able to present the cheque to
Suzanne Hallsworth, Development Manager,
Communications for the Credit Valley Hospital
Foundation. Also in attendance at the gift
presentation on March 6, 2006 was Tina Triano, Vice
President of the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.
