About B.A.S.S. Nation

The Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation became the 50th nation in the B.A.S.S. international family. There are currently 51 B.A.S.S. nations in the U.S., Canada, Italy, Japan, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation was founded in 1995 and is made up of 25 clubs from all across the Province of Ontario and New Brunswick. The Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation is a grass-roots organization designed for everyone from beginners to seasoned tournament anglers. Although catch and release bass tournaments are a part of our organization they are not the only aspects. Adopting the initiatives developed by B.A.S.S., the Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation strives to excel in conservation and youth programs. Recently, Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation has incorporated the growing membership and success of kayak bass angling by welcoming Ontario Kayak Bassmaster to its organization allowing anglers to compete for the chance to represent the Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation at B.A.S.S.’s Bassmaster Kayak Classic.

Mississauga Bassmasters is one of the largest clubs of the 26 Chapters in the Ontario B.A.S.S. Nation.
The Mississauga Bassmasters club is comprised of boaters & non-boaters, with progressive angling skills from beginner to successful pro-angler.
$80.00 (new & renewal after first meeting in January) membership fee is your access to monthly club meetings and a subscription to B.A.S.S. Times newspaper
$32.00 USD gives you a 1-year subscription to Bassmaster Magazine
Fish club tournaments by pre-paying in full/deposit - currently $60 each (big fish pool included)
Participate in club raffles held at each monthly meeting (see below) - tickets are $5 for 3 tickets
